Finally fleeing the coop, Dan and I drove a few hours north for the night to Paihia. Here, at the edge of the Bay of islands, we watch a sweet sunset over a boat-restauraunt. Tonight is St. Paddy's Day, but the town doesnt seem to take notice. Most folks are in bed by 9pm, and we are lucky to get a good dinner at an Italian Restaurant. Tomorrow we're tourists.
